Some 160 high school and vocational students from various institutes in Malaga attended a new edition, the third in the Andalusian capital, of the training day Bringing science to schools on Wednesday. Drug research and development. The objective? To inform young people about the research process of a medicine, and to do it from the triple perspective of clinicians and researchers, patients and the pharmaceutical industry.
The global vision of the meeting tries to show the complexity of the biomedicine research process and its collaborative condition, and thus seeks, in addition to explaining a very little known socially, to promote students’ interest in research.
Beyond the explanations of the speakers, the day promotes the participation of young attendees, so that they can deepen the different aspects presented, resolve their doubts and even provide their suggestions.
